What's This?

Partnership for Penns Valley Library Services, or PPVLS for short, is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization that supports the development of the Centre Hall Area Branch Library and other library services in the Penns Valley area of Pennsylvania.

The Process.

PPVLS did not have a logo before hired the design team at CommAgency for the project. I was assigned this design as a solo project and got right to work. They wanted to highlight that their charitable functions mainly helped community members in the valley who do not have access to the internet, so they wanted that reflected in their logo. After many iterations and reworks, I found a perfect icon in a valley made of a book and a sunrise made by a wifi symbol.

The Final Logo.

After presenting the board with 3 logo concepts, they decided on the "Wifi Valley" as they called it. They wanted to change the color palette to something more tech feeling and get rid of the container lines. Once the logo was finalized I developed the final logo spec sheet provided by our agency. Now, PPVLS has an identity to go out and raise money for the minds of our future generations.
